Independent aviation advisory, rooted in Sydney.

Airplane Fly Advisory Pty Ltd supports Australian principals with structured research, editorial context and documented review processes for private and regional aviation decisions.

Founded on clarity, not sales pressure.

Airplane Fly began in 2019 when a group of aviation journalists and former regional airline analysts recognised a gap: Australian family offices and pastoral groups were receiving aircraft marketing materials without independent structural review.

We are not a broker, dealer or charter operator. We do not take acquisition commissions. Our revenue comes from advisory fees for documented scope work — acquisition review, due diligence coordination, ownership planning and route assessment.

The editorial journal publishes independently of advisory engagements. Journal contributors disclose any advisory relationships in article footnotes.

How we work with Australian principals.

Written scope before work begins

Every engagement starts with a scope note defining deliverables, exclusions, timeline and fee. No open-ended retainers without quarterly review.

Risk notes, not guarantees

Our outputs flag regulatory, operational and financial risks. We do not promise returns, availability, approval or performance outcomes.

Qualified referrals

Legal, tax, engineering and insurance questions are referred to licensed Australian professionals. We coordinate; we do not substitute.
